The trustees of the Young Organ Scholars’ Trust (YOST) are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Martin Clarke as the Trust’s first President.

During a meeting of trustees on January 16th 2020, a motion was proposed by Jason Kelly to create the role of President in response to YOST’s expanding profile, its evolving structure and participation in high-profile events.

A further motion was proposed by our Chairperson, Ann Elise Smoot, that Dr Martin Clarke, the figurehead of the Trust which carries his name, should be elected as the Trust’s first President. The trustees voted unanimously in favour of both motions and Dr Martin Clarke accepted his appointment to the role.
