YOST Scholars taking part in a masterclass with Daniel Moult at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Earlier this year, our YOST scholars enjoyed a visit to Birmingham. The day included inspiring masterclasses from Daniel Moult, David Saint and Nicholas Prozzillo, covering repertoire from the Baroque to the 20th Century. These classes also afforded a valuable opportunity to develop essential skills for liturgical playing.

Students were thrilled to have the opportunity to play on three mechanical action instruments at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The day concluded in spectacular fashion at St Chad’s Cathedral, where students took to the console of the magnificent Walker organ.
